What is Cub Scouting?

There are loads of fun things that you can do as a Cub Scout. You will get a chance to try lots of different activities like swimming, music, exploring, computing and collecting. If you do them properly you will get a badge which you can wear on your uniform.

Cubs at the St George's Day Parade

Cub Scouts also get to go on trips and days out, to places like the zoo, theme parks or a farm. Sometimes you will be able to go camping with the rest of your Pack. This will mean you sleeping in a tent and doing loads of outdoor activities.

Cubs is for 8 to 10.5 year olds, we meet each Thursday at The South Holmwood Scout Centre (Behind the old South Holmwood School on the A24 going towards Dorking)
From 6.30pm to 8.00pm

What do Cubs do?

Play games, sports ad try new things.
Go tracking, camping and exploring.
Invent and make items large and small
Its great fun and is never boring

Last term

During our weekly meetings we gained badges, made pencil boxes, and invented some new games.
We visited Chatham Dockyard and some of us have started emailing Australian penpals.
